Large "Keep Growing" Rug Punch Needle Kit
This is the first ~ real ~ rug kit I’ve ever made and I cant wait to share it with you!
Orders will begin shipping April 1-7th! After preorders close there will be a limited number of kits available until the next restock (if there is one, idk yet 🙃)
This is my first time making a kit like this and I’m hoping to have some supplemental tutorials to walk through the entire process from start to finish including how to whip stitch the edges of a rug, as pictured (this is optional and the instruction Zine will include other ways to finish your rug project as well)
Each Kit Includes:
1 wooden punch needle and threader
monk’s cloth
1 LMTWEET design transfer
enough pre-measured and cut yarn for the chosen kit
instruction zine
tapestry needle for whip stitching
Elmer’s glue
binder clips for whip stitching
NOTE: an embroidery hoop/frame is not included in this kit and it instead comes with instructions and resources on different options for stretching your project.
I personally use an old canvas frame and stapler gun to set up my rugs but you can also find specific “rug frames” and “rug tape” on etsy as well as smaller frames that can be found at craft stores like Michaels in the United States.
These kits are made with 100% rug wool yarn and colors may vary based on yarn dye lots and screen variations. hand wash or soak in cool water with detergent/vinegar and air dry
